Affordable Local Renewable Energy Generation

Introduction

Einstein's Energy equation E=mc² is an example of one of the back to basic principal of mc2 Generation. The simplicity of the equation is mirrored by our principal of using uncomplicated and easily available sources of energy to enable the generation of electricity without 'costing the Earth.'

With the now recognised effects of Global Warming and the need to reduce carbon output with today's high energy dependant lifestyle there is a growing drive for renewable energy solutions. Our renewable energy projects can include wind, wave, tidal, biomass, solar, geothermal etc utilising the available energy around us without unlocking the old stores of carbon (e.g. coal)

Up until recently there has been little middle ground in this sector between the large scale corporation dealing with the large wind farms and the small scale user producing mainly only for their own needs. This has mainly been due to the different mind-set between those with large financial backing looking to maximise profits and those who are looking to 'do their bit' for the environment as well as try to reduce their energy bills. This is where 'mc2 Generation' now comes into the equation.

As a 'middle ground' electricity generator we are looking to work with small landowners and communities in order to provide a local renewable energy source. In this way we can provide clean energy into the immediate electricity network whilst also treading the fine line of being financially viable (and hence able to produce low carbon energy well into the future). This benefits those who allow the positioning of renewable energy elements on their land as an extra annual income will be created for what is often an extremely small reduction in available land for normal ongoing practices.
